Ubiquiti Unifi USW-Ultra 10″ 1U Rack Mount

Description

The new UniFi Ultra line of small switches fits really well into their line up but is designed to sit on a table or shelf. I have designed a mount that holds the switch securely into a 10″ rack. The mount comes with screws to secure the switch into the mount and 4 rack nuts, bolts and washers as well. The switch fits nicely into the rackmount, the front is contoured to fit so the front of the switch is flush with the front of the bracket.

This is printed in the UK using UK manufactured PLA plastic. The plastic is compostable so will not pollute the environment when disposed of. By default the colour will be black (the pictures show in a grey colour) however I may be able to do custom colours on request although usually as a bulk order. All my brackets are designed to be strong and you could say over engineered compared to a lot of products available. They need to resist the twisting action placed on them by this type of mounting, the pricing reflects the amount of additional strengthening used to keep them rigid and also my insistence on using quality UK manufactured plastic not cheap amazon stuff.

Please note, this is for a 10″ rack, not the 19″ one you get in most offices, keep an eye out on my store for a 19″ version. You can choose from the Standard Temperature bracket suitable for racks up to 50 degrees dentigrade or a high temperature bracket made from ASA plastic suitable for up to 90 degrees. Many mounts you can buy either come in PLA or maybe PETG, the latter is more temperature resistant but has a habit of warping over time under stress load. All our brackets are printed with additional outer walls to strengthen the design further.

As with all 3d printed products there may be imperfections in the surface of the mount however it’s designed to have a textured surface on the front facing parts which should make the bracket look uniform.

Please note, I will not sell the “STL Only” of this or any other bracket, whilst I appreciate you could probably print it cheaper for yourself the amount of time and effort in perfecting the design means I can’t allow the design to be taken and copied. For large IT installers I am happy to discuss bulk discounts.
