Ubiquiti UniFi USW-16-Lite-PoE 19″ 1U Rack Mount Bracket

Description

This is a 19″ rackmount bracket for a Ubiquiti UniFi USW-16-Lite-PoE network switch. These are brilliant switches but sometimes it would be nice to rackmount it without just using a shelf!

The mount is shipped in parts and can then be assembled quickly without any screws (you’ll need a hammer to tap the parts into place). The bracket is made from high quality UK manufactured compostable PLA plastic or good quality ASA Plastic for the high temperature version and will be shipped in a carboard box with all necessary rack fixings contained in a paper envelope.

Once assembled the switch effectively becomes part of the mount giving it rigidity and stability. Once the switch has been installed in the bracket the four supplied screws are used to screw in a back plate to keep it in place.

There are two plastic versions, Standard Temperature PLA for racks up to 50 degrees centigrade ambient temperature or High Temperature ASA which is lighter, stronger and can be used in ambient temperatures of up to 90 degrees centigrade.

As with all 3D printed items there will be visible marks in the plastic from the manufacturing process however the front facing surfaces will be printed with a textured pattern that should make the surface uniform throughout.
