Description

The latest Cloud Gateway from Ubiquiti is the Cloud Gateway Fiber – UCG-Fiber (That’s UCG-Fibre when my fellow UK citizens search for it). 10Gb WAN, 2.5Gb LAN and PoE as well, a great addition to the line-up.

This mount is designed to fit the UCG-Fiber like a glove, holding it firmly in place whilst still allowing maximum airflow around to allow it to dissipate the heat effectively, it includes holes for the vents underneath. The strength is derived from the close modelled fit allowing the unit to become part of the mounting solution, this gives strength to the bracket and so doesn’t require an infill which aids cooling. The unit is secured by a backplate and two bolts which allows the gateway to be mounted either forwards or backwards. This is not just a glorified plastic shelf, the front of the mount is moulded to fit the device so it sits flush and looks great. It’s my own design not one copied off the internet and so isn’t available to download. You have the option to choose an in-built power supply mount, this upgrades one of the side arms to be able to hold the power supply and coil up the cable to keep everything tidy, the power tip can then be fed through to the front of the mount to plug into the switch.

Please note this version is for a 19″ office style rack, a 10″ version is also available in the store

The standard version is printed out of UK manufactured PLA plastic and is shipped in UK sourced cardboard packaging and either paper or occasionally re-used plastic fill if I have some to hand. The PLA Standard Temperature version is suitable for racks that reach up to 50 degrees, if you choose the High temperature ASA version the plastic can withstand temperatures up to around 90 degrees before starting to soften, the high temp plastic is not currently UK manufactured but we’re working with our filament supplier to get a UK manufactured plastic soon.

The bracket will be supplied with a set of Rack Nuts, Bolts and Washers

As with all 3d printed products there may be imperfections in the surface of the mount however it’s designed to have a textured surface on the front facing parts which should make the bracket look uniform.

Need a customisation? Maybe a logo on the front or a specific colour? Drop me a message to discuss.

This is just for the mount, gateway and power supply in the pictures not included.
