Description

This is a 19″ rack mount for the HP EliteDesk / ProDesk 400 & 600 G3 G4 G5 G6 G7 G8 G9 Mini PC. These are excellent machines and some of the older ones are currently selling at a decent price on the second hand market. Ideal for small servers, phone systems, display screens and the like. The mount allows you to place and secure the HP PC into a standard 19″ rack. The mount is shipped in parts and can then be assembled quickly (you’ll need a hammer to tap the parts into place). The bracket is made from high quality UK manufactured compostable PLA plastic and will be shipped in a cardboard box with all necessary rack fixings contained in a paper envelope.

Once the PC has been installed in the bracket the two supplied screws are used to screw in a back plate to keep it in place. Please note, this is only compatible with a horizontal rackmount not a vertical one.

Please be aware that the brackets are printed in PLA Plastic and are ok in racks up to around 50 degrees ambient temperature. If your rack gets hot then let me know as I can now offer the rackmount in a high temperature plastic which you can choose when purchasing. I will print in ASA plastic which is different to many “high temp” racks listed, they usually use PETG which is more tolerant of temperature but tends to be more flexible and can sag over time.

For bulk orders of more than 3 brackets there may be a day’s delay for every 2 additional brackets ordered to give me time to manufacture them, I’ll usually let you know an ETA upon order.

As with all 3D printed items there will be visible marks in the plastic from the manufacturing process however the front facing surfaces will be printed with a textured pattern that should make the surface uniform throughout.
